Nope. Rinne isn't retiring, and does have a nice NMC. So that means Nashville is just going to give up assets to acquire MAF (at $5M). Then next year they will trot out MAF at $5M, Rinne at $5M, and Juuse Saros at $1.5M. So after blowing most of their cap space on MAF, they won't have much room to upgrade other areas of the roster. Don't worry. The payoff comes the year after when Rinne's contract expires. Then MAF becomes the man. Makes total sense. I wonder if Ceci signs in Nashville too?
